The Dog Walker

Capturing an image worthy of gracing someone’s wall is a nuanced endeavor, demanding a symphony of factors to merge seamlessly. The synergy of the right camera, lens, subject, time of day, seasonal ambiance, and the interplay of light and mood must be meticulously orchestrated.

Yet, exceptions exist, as in the case of this photograph. It was born on one of Toronto’s most shrouded mornings this year, immersed in an ethereal fog. At 2:00 am, I embarked on a journey to Lake Ontario’s city shoreline, lugging my equipment. Amidst the park’s shadows, a figure emerged—a man with his loyal dog.
